I'm saying goodbye to the workaholic version of me. The one who sacrificed everything for career success. Missed birthdays. Skipped weddings. Worked holidays. Ignored friends. For what? A promotion? I climbed the ladder. Made good money. Got impressive titles. But I lost everything else. Now I'm 45. Successful on paper. Empty in reality. No partner. No kids. No real friends left. I'm choosing different priorities now. Before it's too late. Before I'm completely alone.
