I'm saying goodbye to the perfectionist in me....
I'm saying goodbye to the perfectionist in me. The one who was never good enough. Never satisfied. Never done. Every accomplishment was immediately insufficient. Every success had flaws. Every project had room for improvement. I thought I was ambitious. Driven. Excellence-focused. But I was just miserable. Anxious. Exhausted. Perfectionism isn't about being good. It's about never feeling good enough. And it's a prison. I'm practicing "good enough" now. Releasing control. Accepting imperfection. And it's terrifying and liberating.
