Regretful Gray0°C

My family wants me to care for my aging parents....

My family wants me to care for my aging parents. But they abused me. I owe them nothing. "But they're family." "But they're old." "But no one else will do it." Not my problem. I didn't ask to be born. I didn't ask for the childhood they gave me. I don't owe them anything. Let my siblings handle it. Let the state handle it. Let karma handle it. Not me. I'm breaking the cycle. I'm choosing myself. And I'm not apologizing for it.
