I chose my career based on what would impress you. My hobbies. My everything. Who I am is partially real. Partially performance. Partially crafted for your approval. You like hiking. I hike now. You value ambition. I'm ambitious now. You read classics. I read classics now. I've become who I think you'd want. Who I think you'd love. Who I think you'd choose. But it didn't work.
