You had a baby. And suddenly that's your entire personality. Your only topic of conversation. I'm happy for you. Kids are wonderful. But I need conversation about literally anything else. Work. News. Hobbies. Travel. Books. Movies. Anything. Just five minutes without baby talk. I'm not a mom. I don't have kids. And every conversation makes me feel invisible. I miss the person you were before. I don't know this version of you. And it's lonely.
