To the one who couldn't let me in

I loved you with everything I had, but you wouldn't let me. You kept me at arm's length, showing me glimpses of your heart but never the whole thing. And I'm exhausted from trying to break down walls you keep rebuilding. [ What I'm Grateful For ] Thank you for teaching me that I can't love someone into healing. Thank you for showing me that emotional availability is not something I can force or create. Thank you for helping me understand my own needs better. [ The Goodbye & The Wish ] I hope you find the courage to let someone in someday. I hope you do the work to heal whatever keeps you locked away. But I can't wait anymore. I can't keep loving someone who won't let themselves be loved. I deserve more than that.
