To my biggest "what if"

I let you go without a fight. I was scared, or proud, or stupid—maybe all three. And now I live with the weight of wondering what our life could have looked like if I had just been brave enough to try. [ What I'm Grateful For ] Thank you for being the one I measure everyone else against. Thank you for setting a standard that most people can't meet. Thank you for being my greatest lesson in courage—or the lack of it. [ The Goodbye & The Wish ] I hope you found someone who was brave when I was cowardly. I hope you're happy, truly happy, living a life I can only imagine. And I hope, someday, I stop wondering what if and start appreciating what is.
